Darrin runs a great automotive repair shop! I have taken four family cars to the Village Garage over many years and have always been fully satisfied with the work. Darrin and his team, Joe and Mike, have in depth knowledge, a willingness to discuss service options (to whatever level of detail you wish), price fairly and get-the-job-done-on-time. The facility ain't fancy, it reminds me of what one expects a working garage to look like, and I like that. Fair, Competent and Friendly ... yep.

Darrin is great and his knowledge is top notch. I love coming here because they give me alternatives that most would not. I have an older 4runner that is have had here multiple times. First trip i needed a new abs master cylinder. Toyo dealership price 3600. Darrin gave me alternative to get a rebuilt one for 1000. We put it on. It failed in 4 mos. He got me another one and put it on at no cost. Its been working for over 2 yrs now. Ive been back w all my issues and wont take my truck anywhere else. Highly recommended. Straight shooters, quality work.

I have a few friends that have had bizarre experiences here, but I'd figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and give them a shot! I called today just to get a simple quote for an E92 M3 oil change; Darrin answered the phone and told me he couldn't possibly give me a price and insisted that he would have to take a look at the car in his shop(keep in mind, this is for an oil change). I was a bit confused by this and told him the vehicle takes 10W-60 oil....he stopped me there and told me he had "never heard of it in his life", as if I was completely out of my mind. Major red flag considering 10W-60 is the only weight the engine can take. A simple, "I'm not sure, but let me check and call you back with a price" would have sufficed. I was very respectful in my conversation with him, but there is an underlying attitude issue that is consistent with some of the other reviews.

The Village Garage has been working on my vehicles since they opened and I've had both my vehicles longer than they've been around. I trust the pricing and the warranty of work. The work is explained so I can understand and options are given if there are any. Unlike other shops I've dealt with over the years I've never felt pressured or as if I was about to get ripped off. I appreciate the honesty and quality and wouldn't go anywhere else for service.

I was referred to this garage by my neighbor. I recently got a divorce and knew relatively nothing about the mechanical care of my car. I needed a garage that would not take advantage of a woman. I knew right away that the owner, Darrin took pride in his work when two different headlights came in and he was not pleased! Darrin installed the pair so I could drive at night until the right one came in that matched...of course at no extra cost to me. The second time I came in for him to check a leak in my gas hose. He hurt my feelings when he told me that he did not want to hear anymore about my divorce. When I came back after he ordered the hoses, he apologized for hurting my feelings. I believe that he is a honest mechanic who wants to provide the best service for his customers.
